Everybody loves goblin decks. O.k., maybe not everyone. Especially those that get hosed by one. So to honor all those poor misguided souls who can't find the beauty in a carefully crafted goblin deck, I dedicate this page chock full of goblin decks. If you have an original goblin deck that is not listed here, e-mail the contents to us. Include your name, the title of the goblin deck, the names of all the cards and how many of each. Also include the sideboard if you have one and give a brief description of how the deck works. We will post it on this page as soon as possible.

Goblin Immolation

Description:  The main idea of this deck is to kill them hard and fast.  To begin, all creatures in the deck have a low mana cost, so fewer lands are in the deck.  This will allow you to play small cheap creatures in the beginning.  There are many instances to fight off any threatening creatures the opponent may play.  I like to use the goblin grenades on the opponent, but when fighting a deck with larger than average creatures, you may have to take them down.  Once you get out your sharpshooters its generally over for them.  First take out any little creatures the opponent may have. You can take out any slightly larger creatures with your sharpshooters by sacrificing a goblin on your side to untap him.  Sacrificing is provided by goblin sledder, goblin lookout, and goblin grenade.  What makes the deck as fast as it is, are the cycling cards.  I put in three forgotten caves into it because when you have about four lands out, you don't really need much else, so cycle the caves and draw a new card!  You can also magma jet an opponent or his creature, thus enabling you to use its scry ability.  Those go well with the isochron scepter.  Another goody in here is the goblin lookout.  Once you've been able to take care of most of your opponents creatures with the sharpshooters and instances, you should be able to sacrifice the lookout so all your goblins become 3/1 ankle biters.  Attack with everything you have and if they still aren't done, use a grenade if you have one left to finish them off.  Since most red decks I make seem to have trouble with blue and its counterspells, I added some urza's rage to the deck along with red elemental blast and pyroblast to the sideboard to make for an interesting fight.

Goblightning

Forget about trying to setup anything just burn and sacrifice all of them. My best draws would usually knock down opponents in just 3 turns and I have used this deck for quite some time now and always looked at the faces of my now goblin-paranoid fiends. Some downside to this rampage though is that it sometimes have more or less lands in the middle of the game which can turn the tides against these earth demons. But then again, It only needs 3 turns to bring it back to its lightning strike kill.

The Insane Goblin King from your local Circus Freaks Show

This deck is about fun. Make a lot of goblins, make them large. Kill them in a frenzied bloodbath of pain, assuming you don't come across counterspells or a whole lot of kill spells. If those pop up id suggest my alternate with dralnus crusade and golin trenches (since you can keep creating goblins with the trenches and warrens as an ability, and the changing them black will help protect them a bit from mass destruction)

1 alternate had a Dralnu's Crusade instead of the airdrop condor,  and 6 lands that could produce black or red (lava tubes, undiscovered paradise, rakdos carnarium, cinder marsh, great furnace, mirrodins core, and ravaged highland), but I didn't see a point in having that many cards to put out black mana without including a festering goblin, goblin turncoat, marsh goblins, cabal slaver, Razorfin Hunter, Scarwood Goblins, Goblin Trenches, Goblin Legionairre, Rakdos Guildmage, goblin flectomancer, earthblighter, boros recruit, or any other multicolored goblin related card, and that would be a much different deck (actually I used to run 1 with every goblin related card I had, 1 of each art piece, but I assume from the format of the other decks that listing every goblin related card ever printed would be excessive)

Goblin Burns
This deck relies mostly on getting goblins out, then using them with warstrikes to burn your opponent.  Empty the warrens and goblin warrens are used to make new goblins, then there are a bunch of cheap cards to chain in to the storm for empty the warrens like shock and lava spike, use most on your enemies life points, avoid killing creatures unless they are really a thorn in your side.  The Skirk Prospectors and brightstone rituals are used to make mana for playing all these spells. This deck will appear to be losing at first, but I usually take all 20 life points in one turn when I chain a bunch of cheap burn spells into the empty the warrens, then use 2 goblin war strikes, so SAVE YOUR WARSTRIKES!  And don't worry about sacrificing a few goblins, its for the greater good!

Yay, numbers!

Strategy: The main goal here is to get as many goblins out as possible and when they have served their purposes, stuff 'em into the Fodder cannon or strap the Goblin grenade on one of them to deal some serious damage. If this doesn't work, then the deck has a backup plan with two goblin kings and a goblin warcheif so you can flood the field with pumped-up goblins. If that's not enough pain and punishment, this deck also has a decent amount of burn cards to take down foes or to burn the opponent.

Burning Cheese

Its a burn deck that uses Panics and used to use Errantry. Panics essentially turn it into a 56 card deck and help to get your Blood Lusted or Errantried goblins through. I use this really just as a test deck since strictly red burn decks don't win tournaments (but they get far) and I really would hate it if I was booted out of a tournament by one of these, because there always is one. Elkin Bottles kick in a deck like this. Tourney Experience - 2nd place out of 7, one tourney attempted only. Alternatives: 4 Errantry instead of 4 Ball Lightning (killer goblins, Chirurgeons help here) 4 Chain Lightnings for true cheese.

This is very simple. get your goblins out then start sacrificing them to the Goblin Warrens. You can even sacrifice them when your tapped out for surprise defense. Put the Goblin king out last once you have a good force and change the opponent's land to a mountain to walk him to death.

It starts off good with lots of little goblins and slowly builds up (thanks to mana flare and goblin warrens) into a raging inferno of goblins hordes! If you can hold off long enough to get out goblin warrens and a few mana flares, the game is yours! (I once had over 300 5/5 goblins out!)

Return Of The Mountain King

There are two types of Goblin deck. One, which has become the "Geeba" deck, is chock-full of Blood Lusts, grenades, Lightning Bolts, Incinerates, etc. It is about a 5th turn Goldfish deck. This is not that deck. The second type is for those who recognize Goblins not as the Next Big Tournament Thing (TM) but as a set of funny little creatures to have fun with. Although still including some Grenades and a couple of Blood Lusts, the deck is really for you to have fun with. Hey....nothing beats tapping the Wizard to bring an 11/11 Mutant straight into play! And just because it's fun doesn't mean it can't win....when you have about five or so goblins, two or three Kings, and maybe a shrine out, try using Rainbow Vale to cast Blood Moon. Guaranteed to make your opponent unhappy.

The Red Menace

Gobbos rule ! Play this deck like every good gobbo deck should - crush, kill, destroy!! Attack at every opportunity and your opponent should be dead by turn 7 or 8 at the latest. Save the direct damage to take out your opponents flyers, not your opponent. Let the gobbos do the killing! I love the look on my opponent's face as a blood lusted Goblin Chirurgeon takes them out ! An early version of this deck came second in a small, modified type I tournament.

The Goblin Insurgence

This is your basic Goblin deck, with some improvements. The addition of Power Surge as an environmental card greatly improves the deck's effectiveness in multiplayer as well as versus large creature decks, which can be killers for Goblins. Counter decks have trouble with it, too. Any other fast creature deck will do fine, but Goblins are arguably the best for a small creature swarm. Except for the Mons's, all the Goblins I chose had some ability that could prove useful. Digging Teams destroy walls, Goblins of the Flarg have natural Mountainwalking, and Balloon Brigades offer flight. Firebreathing Flargs once Blood Moon is out is a personal favorite of mine. Firebreathing Balloon Brigades always brings a smile to my lips. The Kings are obvious enough. They pump the Goblins. The Warlords have the ideal situation in which to thrive in this deck. Especially with the Warrens, they have the potential to grow every turn. I used two. I only included one Màrton, simply because the deck can win without it, usually in the first 10 turns. He is there if the game goes a little longer, and you need a last-minute finisher. And a spectacular finish it is, with him. I have managed to deal over 150 damage in one blow! The Firebreathing is the primary mana-sink to get around Power Surge. It also makes the puny Goblins seem a lot more threatening. Other options are paying the activation cost for the Goblin Balloon Brigade's flight ability as many times as you need. Goblin Warrens is also great for sinking mana. Also, since the deck casts very fast anyway, there shouldn't be a problem. There are only one Warrens and one War Drums to begin with. This is because having more than one of either is useless. While it raises the chances of getting the card, drawing more Goblins is better. An additional War Drums is in the Sideboard if needed. The Caves are there, too, for toughness pumping against other weenies. In the sideboard there are some anti-artifact cards, as well as a heavy arsenal versus white. This is because white weenies is the most feared adversary for this deck. They are bigger, and usually have first strike. Plus, they have white removal as their defense. So the Flashfires and Anarchy will do nicely when needed. As do the Blasts, versus Counter decks.

Quick Kill Goblin Deck
Speed is the key with this deck and you have amazing amounts of it--between lots of enhanced weenies, amazing amounts of direct damage, and the always fun Ball Lightnings, your opponent's going to die quickly. You need to kill quickly in a mono deck because otherwise you're going to get stopped by a CoP: Red or Energy Storm and that will be the end of you. If you want to build a longer lasting version of this deck, add green (Crumble and Tranquillity in the sideboard) and replace the Ball Lightnings with Ernhams or Orggs. Depending on what your tournaments are like, you might want to transfer the Blood Moons from the sideboard to the main deck since they're one of the most effective ways of disabling Type I decks long enough for you to go for the quick kill.

Goblin Reset
The problem with this deck is a pure white weenie deck with plenty of enchantments because jokulhaups never gets rid of them. Only the Nev. disk can destroy enchantments but with white disenchants are common so anarchy is simply nasty and the disenchants are reserved for "Conversion"

Goblin Bauble

This deck may not look like much on paper, but it's extremely quick. The baubles make the deck essentially 56 cards, and everything costs very little so there are only 16 lands. (That's why there's only one goblin king.) The blood lusts should be used early to bring your opponent down to 15 or 10 life, and then the grenades and damage can finish him off in under five turns.

How it works: Get out the Meekstone so your little buddies won't be slaughtered. Use Regeneration/Goblin Tinker to destroy lots of artifacts, or Goblin Balloon Brigade/Regeneration for a Will-O-the-Wisp look-a-like, that deals damage! Recruiters help you find your creatures. Use the Warrens to make lots of goblins, and the King to make them bigger.

Hurt Me Goblin Deck

This deck is very fast and very painful. On third you can have about already killed your opponent. This deck is a very good one on one deck. When your throwing a Goblin Mutant with a giant growth and bloodlust, then blowing it up with a Goblin Grenade gets you opponent pretty pissed.

Gobbogeddon

You distract the opponent and make him think you're playing standard gobbo by harassing him with gobbo's and Direct Damage. Then when you're weenies start to lose their charm, put out a goblin recruiter (best gobbo to me) and get a wizard and some mutants. Play the wizard followed by an Armageddon. Use the Wizard to put down the mutants while he is out of mana. You're not because of the diamonds, if he's also got diamonds just destroy'em with the vandal. Clubber him to death with the Mutants.

Da Goblin Bomb

The object of this deck is very simple: Throw in 4 goblins (including Mogg Maniac) and Skirk fire Marshall, tap 'em, and it's over.(If you have the Regalia, you do 30 damage and you don't even feel the pain) Or, throw in a couple gobs and use the Coat of arms to have a huge army of goblins to walk over your opponent.(Clickslither is very useful here)
